Growth plan for Transparent Labs, 2 Oct 2026
Scale spend. Hold CAC.
Your site promises "100% formula transparency" and shows 8004 Reviews on one page. The plan turns that proof into creator videos and tested ads, scaling spend while holding a $24 target CAC.

- Target CAC
- $24
- New ads a week at peak
- 20
- Creators live by week six
- 10
- Test spend, six weeks
- $24,000
Contents
10 chapters, then the gates and every number’s source.
01 The number
Hold target CAC at $24 while Transparent Labs spend scales
The number to protect is a $24 target CAC. It is the guard line: 0.6 of a $40.00 ceiling built from a $50 average order, 40% margin and one repeat order. Spend rises only while CAC stays under it. Everything else on this page serves that line.
Protect
Target CAC: $24 on a first purchase
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $50 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $40.00. Guard line = 0.6 × $40.00 = $24.00. Across the ranges: $5.25 to $121.49.
Three moves
- Test every creator video against the $24 target before any winner gets more budget.
- Kill losers early and move spend into winners across Protein Pancakes and Bulk Pre-Workout ads.
- Put the "Save 10% + FREE Shipping" subscription offer into winning ads to lift repeat orders.

02 Variety
Protein Pancakes in 14 flavors feed a deep hook library
Each ad concept has to carry one product, one reason to buy and one proof, such as 4.90 across 49 reviews on Grass-Fed Protein Shake or 100% formula transparency. One variable changes per test, so a loser tells us exactly what failed.
| Reason to buy | Proof you already have | Ads (proposed) |
|---|---|---|
| 100% formula transparency | 100% formula transparency with science-backed ingredients at clinically tested dosages. | 7 |
| Coffee with protein | Premium Arabica coffee and 20g grass-fed whey protein isolate. | 3 |
| Clean grass-fed whey | 28g of clean, grass-fed whey protein isolate with no artificial additives. | 2 |
| Subscribe and save | Save 10% off + FREE shipping on every delivery | 2 |
| Elite pre-workout | Elite muscle-building pre-workout formula. | 2 |
| Free US shipping | Orders in the US over $99 ship free. | 1 |
| First order discount | 10% off your first order | 1 |
| Total | The ad concepts tab | 18 |

Each row is a reason to buy that the brand already has proof for. The count is how many of the ads carry it: a reason with a single ad is a bet, not a pattern, and the next batch of concepts moves toward the reasons that win.
03 Disturbances
Caffeine wording and shipping lines are the risks I gate first
| Disturbance | Likelihood | Impact | Owner | Gate (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ads state caffeine beyond label wording on Lean Pre-Workout and Bulk Black | Med | High | Both | Every claim sits in a signed claims sheet; no ad goes live without a source line |
| Single baskets near $49.99 sit under the $99 free-shipping line and lift CAC | Med | Med | Me | Bundle test live in week two; stop if CAC stays above $24 after two tests |
| Creators drift off the "100% formula transparency" message | Med | Med | Me | Brief approved before posting; reject any video that skips the claims sheet |
| Event tracking misreads subscriptions and repeat orders | High | High | Your team | Purchase and subscription events verified in Week 1 before spend scales |
| Early test CAC runs above the $40.00 ceiling | High | Med | Me | Pause any ad set that passes $40.00 CAC once its test spend is used |
| Slow creator onboarding delays the ramp to 10 live by week six | Med | High | Both | Two creators live each week; hold added spend if the roster lags at day 30 |
| The "(Copy)" name on Vitality Testosterone Support confuses buyers from ads | Low | Med | Your team | Product name fixed before any ad points to that page |
Scores are my read from outside the company, re-scored in week one with your data. Each risk has one owner and one gate that can be checked with a number, so nobody has to argue about whether it happened.
04 The ceiling
A $50 order at 40% margin sets a $40.00 ceiling
| Line | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Average order | $50 (range $10.00–$89.99) | Assumption Range from the site product prices (Published); the midpoint is a guess |
| Gross margin | 40% (range 35–45%) | Assumption Replace in week one |
| Repeat orders after the first | 1 (range 0.5–2) | Assumption Replace with cohort data in week one |
| Margin per customer, all orders | $40.00 | Calculated Average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders) |
| Guard line for CAC | $24.00 | Calculated 0.6 × the margin per customer |
The math, with the assumed lines
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $50 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $40.00. Guard line = 0.6 × $40.00 = $24.00. Across the ranges: $5.25 to $121.49.
Range across the assumptions: $5 to $121.
The $50 average order, 40% margin and repeat orders are my guesses, not your data. The $40.00 ceiling and $24.00 guard line follow from them. Week one replaces them with your real numbers.
The ceiling is a range, not one number: the most a new customer can cost before shipping and packaging, which I do not have. Replace the guessed lines with yours and every figure below recalculates.
05 Test ramp
Six weeks of tests, $24,000 in total, losers killed early
| Week | New ads × budget / ad (proposed) | Weekly test spend | Cumulative | Creators posting | CAC target (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $3,000 | 0 | $24 |
| 2 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $6,000 | 2 | $24 |
| 3 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $10,000 | 4 | $24 |
| 4 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $14,000 | 6 | $24 |
| 5 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $19,000 | 8 | $24 |
| 6 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $24,000 | 10 | $24 |
Six weeks, Proposed. Weeks 1 and 2 test 12 ads each at $250 an ad, $3,000 a week. Weeks 3 and 4 run 12–20 ads. Weeks 5 and 6 run 20. Total $24,000 of tests, and losers get killed early.
The math. Week 1: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 2: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 3: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 4: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 5: 20 × $250 = $5,000; Week 6: 20 × $250 = $5,000. Total $24,000 (96 ads × $250). A range such as 12–20 counts as its midpoint.
Weeks one and two test what the brand already has, rewritten per reason to buy. From week three, creator videos enter paid only after they beat their own account median. A range of new ads counts as its midpoint in the spend column.
06 Volume
More concepts means more winners, if the hit rate holds
More concepts means more winners. At 20 concepts I guess 2 winners; at 80, 8. Hit rate and spend per winner are guesses; the $72,000 added is what 8 winners would mean, not a forecast.
| Concepts tested / month | Hit rate (assumed) | New winners / month | Spend each winner holds (assumed) | Added spend at target CAC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | 10% | 2 | $300 / day | $18,000 / month |
| 40 | 10% | 4 | $300 / day | $36,000 / month |
| 60 | 10% | 6 | $300 / day | $54,000 / month |
| 80 | 10% | 8 | $300 / day | $72,000 / month |
The math. 20 concepts × 10% = 2 winners × $300 × 30 days = $18,000 a month; 40 concepts × 10% = 4 winners × $300 × 30 days = $36,000 a month; 60 concepts × 10% = 6 winners × $300 × 30 days = $54,000 a month; 80 concepts × 10% = 8 winners × $300 × 30 days = $72,000 a month.
The hit rate and the spend each winner holds are placeholders. The first thirty days of tests replace them with real numbers, and the table is recalculated the same day.
07 Allocation
$100,000 goes to tests, winners, creators and pages
- Creative tests across Transparent Labs products
- $40,000
- 40%
- Scaling winners that hold the $24 target CAC
- $30,000
- 30%
- Creator pay and product seeding
- $20,000
- 20%
- Landing pages and reporting setup
- $10,000
- 10%
These are shares of the $100,000 Proposed budget; they shift toward winners as the week by week data comes in.
The math. 40% × $100,000 = $40,000; 30% × $100,000 = $30,000; 20% × $100,000 = $20,000; 10% × $100,000 = $10,000. Sum 100% = $100,000.
This split is a proposal. It moves toward scaling as winners prove out, and toward testing when fatigue shows.
08 Channels
Meta first, then channels that fit a $49.99 pre-workout
| Channel | Open when (proposed) | Why wait |
|---|---|---|
| Meta | Week 1, with creator video ads and the first tests | Hook testing is fastest here and CAC reads daily |
| TikTok | Once creator videos clear the $24 target CAC on Meta | Creators film training and recipe content natively |
| YouTube | When a winning hook needs longer proof | Formula and dosing detail from product pages needs room to explain |
| Week 1, alongside the first creator ads | The site offers 10% off your first order, so email catches visitors who leave | |
| Search | After winners prove CAC, for brand terms | Viewers of a creator video will search Transparent Labs by name |
A channel opens when its condition is true, not when the calendar says so. Until then the budget stays where the CAC is earned.
09 Payback
A CAC of $45 never pays back; $25 does after repeat orders
Payback is the real constraint. My rule: at a CAC of $10 the first order pays back, with $30.00 left. At $25 it takes repeat orders, with $15.00 left. At $45 or $55 it never does, so we stop. Subscriptions at Save 10% matter because repeat orders decide the middle case.
Cumulative margin per customer, order by order, before CAC: $20.00, $40.00.
| CAC (scenario) | First-order margin | Year-one margin | Left after CAC | Payback |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | $20.00 | $40.00 | $30.00 | First order |
| $25 | $20.00 | $40.00 | $15.00 | After repeat orders |
| $45 | $20.00 | $40.00 | −$5.00 | Never: stop |
| $55 | $20.00 | $40.00 | −$15.00 | Never: stop |
The math. CAC $10: $40.00 − $10 = $30.00 left; pays back: First order; CAC $25: $40.00 − $25 = $15.00 left; pays back: After repeat orders; CAC $45: $40.00 − $45 = −$5.00 left; pays back: Never: stop; CAC $55: $40.00 − $55 = −$15.00 left; pays back: Never: stop.
Read each row left to right: the margin of the first purchase, the margin over the whole horizon, what is left after CAC, and the purchase on which the CAC is earned back. A scenario that never pays back is a stop, not a test.
10 Scope
What I cover on Transparent Labs, and what stays with you
Covers
- Paid social creative and testing across Transparent Labs products
- Creator sourcing, briefs and the hook library
- Landing page briefs for Protein Pancakes, Bulk Pre-Workout and Greens
- Daily CAC, weekly learnings and monthly cohort payback reporting
Doesn’t
- Formulation, health claims review or regulatory advice
- Building event tracking: I spec it, your team implements it
- Store operations, fulfillment and customer support
- Experience in supplements: I have none in this category
What this plan covers is what I can change inside the ad account and the creator program. Everything outside it is named on the right so nobody assumes it is handled.
Gates, written before spend, so stopping isn’t a negotiation.
| Day | Keep going if (proposed) | Stop or change if |
|---|---|---|
| Day 14 | Tracking verified and at least one concept holds CAC under $24 on test spend | No concept under $40.00 CAC after $6,000 of tests |
| Day 30 | Creators live on plan and blended test CAC at or under $24 | CAC above $40.00 after $14,000 of tests |
| Day 60 | Winners scaling with CAC at or under $24 and payback arriving after repeat orders | CAC above $40.00 for two weeks in a row |
| Day 90 | Spend scaled with CAC held at $24 and cohort payback inside the repeat order window | Cohort payback never arrives at current CAC |
Each gate is checked on its day with the numbers in the daily and weekly reports. If the stop condition is true, the spend stops and nothing renews until we talk.
What exists, what’s missing, and the order that’s forced.
| Piece | Exists today | Missing | Forced order |
|---|---|---|---|
| creative | Protein Pancakes: 14 flavors, 28 grams of protein per serving | A tested hook library built on those facts | 1st |
| creators | A product made with Diana Conforti: Hydrate Cherry Watermelon | A repeatable creator roster and briefs | 2nd |
| claims sheet | Label wording like 162 mg caffeine per serving on Lean Pre-Workout | One signed sheet of approved wording | Week 1 |
| landing pages | Product pages with 8004 Reviews on one page | Pages built per creator angle | 2nd |
| reporting | Review counts like 344 on Vitality Testosterone Support (Copy) | Daily CAC and subscription event tracking | 1st |
The order is forced on purpose: creative and creators come first because they are what moves CAC, and everything else waits for that data.

Month one is where it starts.
Week one: I write the claims sheet from your product pages, verify purchase and subscription tracking with your team, and brief the first two creators. The first 12 ads go live at $250 each, one variable per test.
